Let's try and get 1,000,000 replies to this post

Thousand_suns, I've noticed that you have been posting a lot in the polls.  That is good since we are all curious about everyone's favourites.  Yet, you never seem to express a reason why you like it.  We all like to know why you like your songs, solos, etc.

By the way, since you're new, I'd like to welcome you to the forums.  Welcome!

I just came into contact with the above statement.  From best Maiden song with long title thread

Finding this memory funny, I posted it here.  Can you say: Foreshadowing!  :D

@ Wasted: If you are worse than me, I can't learn anything from you, can I?  ;)

cards make me boring

Depends on the company-- I'm not so much for the fun of the cards, as the fun of the friends while playing-- its something I can play and talk at the same time...

he never confirmed here but yes, I too think so

otherwise, it seems that it was *not* a conspirancy

Yeah, thats my thought.  Seems true, since he didn't do anything at all...

Poker is a people game primarily, not a card game.  Amazingly, even when you know you're playing for nothing more than time and plastic chips adrenaline rushes still happen.  Can you imagine how a person reacts when real money is on the table?

That may be true... but I may learn something from you, so one of us will come away happy!!!  :D

I see what you mean!

I never posted around here while he was posting... saw some posts that the Mods had done, using his name.

definately not a bad guy, but somehow he was never listening to others advices

and if we're talking about him now, is because he gave a certain *colour* for a year to this forum !!

I read some of his posts, and I see what you mean.  He was definately a 'march to the beat of a different drum' type of guy.

Seemed nice enough, but, as you say, seemed to not catch on to what others were wanting.

You are correct, that fits the ambience perfectly!!!  Fleetwood Mac is another great 'kick back and relax' band.

did you read my Queen rant from yesterday?  Queen may be a little 'hard' for the mood i'm in right now, but I am a huge fan...

I didn't know that about Peter Green...thats too bad.

I hear you-- hard to care much when you are that close to getting out of there!

I spent the day out and about, but didn't get much done.

Ha ha!!

I didn't have much to do with that, I posted 2 times in about 12 hours... just got in on the end of it!

It was a good group effort.
