interesting continuity... but I was needing something more soft now -imagine! even this old blues sound
is a bit heavy this time for me .........But hey, James : his voice really touches my heart ....his guitar makes me fly

Oh I love Death on the Road, it was my first Maiden CD (live or studio) so I have a special affinity to it. Besides which, I like the cover art (I have the flag :D).

NP: Montsegur.

That is very cool!  I think my first purchased CD of Maiden was Live After Death... but maybe 7th Son...that was a few years back.

NP: Dance of Death.

Whatever anyone may say about this song, it has atmosphere and is just...Dance of Fucking Death.

yes DOTR is really not bad -already better than RiR -and sonically I prefer it to REAL LIVE /DEAD

but LAF and mostly, Donigton are killers

Montségur. I have made an enormous post about that

np : Whose Muddy Shoes, Elmore James

My thing is, and my son and I have spoken about this extensively, I think that Fear of the Dark sounds best on DOTR.  IMO.

Good to get back and see the goal has been obtained.

Tell me whose, baby, whose old muddy shoes I see
Now, tell me whose, baby, whose old muddy shoes I see
They're down at the head of my bed, darling, where my shoes outta be

My baby and I got along just fine, until she went wrong
I woke up in the mornin', she had left from home
Now, tell me whose, baby, whose old muddy shoes I see
Well, down at the head of my bed, darling, where my shoes outta be

Her hair was long and curly, and her teeth shine just like pearl
She wake up in the mornin', she jump just like a squirrel.
Now, tell me whose, baby, whose old muddy shoes I see
Well, they're down at the head of my bed, darling, where my shoes outta be

Now, when I love her in the mornin', she always stay at home
But, now she's gone and left me, she left me all alone.
Now, tell me whose, baby, whose old muddy shoes I see
Well, they down at the head of my bed, where my shoes outta be

NP: Gates of Tomorrow

Did we ever set a new goal or are we just posting for the heck of the greater good (of God)?

I think now just for the greater good. I know my contributions for the day are approaching an end.

I agree with you on Fear of the Dark Wasted...I also really like the version of Lord of the Flies.

I'm not sur, Donigton is awesome and real live one, too
also the real one's version is the most classic
