As for me, this has to be the first time this year I return from a night out and am sober. No, actually the second time. Still, that's rather alarming, but I told everyone that I'm going to be a bit more careful with the booze in the next time.

Although I'd have every reason to get drunk, as I missed Blaze in Hamburg today. Bummer.

I belong to another forum, and the difference between here and there has shocked me.  There, a fellow has gone on leave to do work for a few weeks, and the thread was full of "fuck you, never come back" or "you're one of the only people that's cool here.  come back!"

I don't think Maidenfans is like that at all.  You guys are the best.

Yes, Maidenfans has a certain atmosphere that rarely is seen elsewhere.
 
I'd agree.  There are a few other forums that I hit, and they aren't as 'tight' as this one is.  Also, i think the mod team does a good job of keeping threads from getting out of control; one forum I hit has a new thread for every joke, instead of a thread of jokes... god its a mess trying to track through them!
 
Funny thing is is that I don't actually belong to any other forum (aside from a work related one). So this behaviour, whilst it doesn't surprise me, I have not experienced.

Manowar... hmm... the other day, a mate of mine asked me if I would go to the Magic Circle festival with him. It's certainly one of those bands you have to have seen live, although I read several times that they've become a crap live band. Oh well, we'll see. :)

Well, the 6 nations ended with the most likely scenario going into the final day - Ireland won the Grand Slam and England finished second. Like I say, not bad for a bunch of no-hopers. But they scored more points than anyone (aside from France who equalled England's tally), scored more tries than anyone and conceded less points than anyone.






And Wales finished fourth. :D
