Southend have gone 1-0 down at half time. :(

Football, eh Albie?

This is what my Saturday should have looked like this week:
3pm-5pm  - Shepherd's Bush - QPR vs Ipswich
6pm-11pm - Wembley - Priest Feast

Sounds good right? No, because Sky have chosen this game to be live so has been moved to 5.20, so instead my Saturday looks like this:
5pm-6pm - pub in Wembley - watching QPR match on TV
6pm-11pm - Wembley - Priest Feast

Still good, but I have ticket for a game which I can't get to. <_<

My oldest daughter came home today and told me that she was 'now the number 6'.  I don't know if that means that she is a prisoner, or if she is a cylon.... stay tuned.

After clarifying what she meant, it turns out that the numbers relate the the books that the kids are supposed to read.  The teacher numbers the books, and the kids are each given a number.  it was just really funny the way she said it to me.  So, all night we have been singing Prisoner.

Not sure what you think of Testament, but I personally rate them highly - so if you can tear your self away from the beer to watch them, do so. ;)

I heard a new song from, I guess, their new, forthcoming album on the radio a couple of days ago. Pretty damned good.

Exams are nearly over (only one more to go, next week), so I've almost got my holidays- till mid-April. That is, unless I failed one or more of my exams, in which case I'm going to have to spend the better part of the holidays studying again. Oh yeah, and I've got to write a six-page term paper, but experience tells me that I can do this within a couple of days. Now I've got to hope that I'll get that job I applied for, which would have me working every other day between 20:00 and 24:00 but earns me a nice sum of money....

I'm sure you didn't fail anything and 6 page term papers are a breeze.... I do some of my best writing through procrastination as well. Great news on the job!

Are you actually told to write a number of pages rather than words though?

All my college papers were based on paper length, not word count.  However, font, size, and margins are standardized.
