I am super bored-- shouldn't be, I need to finish up some homework, but I am having a hard time caring about the Diminishing Marginal Utility theory....
It is forbidden by the UCMJ, I know that is sufficiently vague, so basically, it's a military thing (and a good thing, I think). Vietnam era soldiers did not have the restrictions on drugs that modern ones do. At most, it was frowned upon.... kind of like excessive drinking. Vietnam is also a country with a myriad of drugs readily available, it was very easy (for many reasons) for soldiers to get their hands on stuff over there.
