You know, I've never tried a Martini, I'll have to give that a shot sometime.... thanks for the tip!  ( I usually drink something with tequila or rum in it)
 
For god's sake, drink a man's drink -- if you want to drink something out of a martini glass, drink a real martini or a Manhattan or something.  If you need something sweet for your Xmas cocktail party, might I suggest Malibu rum + pineapple juice (better in the summertime, but then so are margaritas) or Captain Morgan + Dr. Pepper (good for fall/winter, and not completely emasculating). 

On an unrelated note, is it me, or are these forums pretty slow lately?  Ever since the U.S. elections, no one (myself included) has posted anything particularly thought-provoking.

I do like The Capt -- used to drink that with Coke a lot.

I thought a mans drink was Scotch on the rocks or something like that ;)
 
man ruff weekend for me drank 12 beers first night stayed out till 4...second night mix of beer and double shots stayed out till 3.30 worked at 5. Went to play rugby today I felt so slow and out of shape I blame the beer, shot's from now on!

Don't knock apple Martinis until you try them. The only difference between them and a real Martini is just a smidgeon of pure apple juice (only enough to taste), so in essence its almost pure alcohol. At least it is the way we make 'em in our household. :D
 
Very cool.

I am waiting to go and eat some pizza for lunch.  I had pizza for lunch on monday (spinich), lunch on tues (pepperoni from Domino's) and I will have the buffet today!
 
Dude, I thought the same thing, but if you try it, you'll like it!!  You don't taste any spinich, and they smother it in a awesme cheese sauce!!  Trust me, its not like its a 'good vegitarian' meal.

I just had a guy call me, I shipped him some parts, and he said "I didn't get my chain, but you charged me for it" .. in a box full of parts.  So I said it was in the box when it left and he said " oh, wait, here it is, I didn't look hard enough."

people are just stupid.

It is. Minus the rocks. Real men drink their whisky without diluting it. The only excuse you can have for adding water is if it is above 50% alcohol by volume  :D

By the way, the spelling control in Firefox obviously doesn't like Scotch. It suggests I correct "whisky" to "whiskey" ...
