Haven't seen that... mite have to check it out.

@__no5, thot you would like that!

:) that will be AWESOME !

a question for you : who was that guy that constructed his OWN bike and won all races ??
from Australia I think

Well, you may be thinking of Carl Fogarty.  He built a bike and it did win some races, but eventually failed due to lack of funds.  Also, there was a bike called a Britton (spelling may be wrong), and I think it also did well, but I believe he passed away with cancer and the company didn't go very far.  Lastly, Eric Buell built some road-racers that are/were powered by Harley engines.  In the classes that they are raced, they do a fairly ok job.

Fogarty... doesn't sound familiar -possibly his name was John  :S

time period : early-mid 90s
he died from a cancer of skin

he built up MOTORS TOO

Yep, John Britton, raced in the Aussie series with his hand built bike-- kicked the crap outta the factories with it.  He'd be the most successful out of the three stories I listed, and the most sad, being as how he died.

So, I had a wine called 'Red Bicyclette' or something like that... think it was french, but not very high-end, prob a $13 bottle.  Not too bad, tho, it was a syrah.

Yeah, I don't know much about them yet.. found a few that are pretty good, tho.  I've tried merlots and cabs also.  What do you prefer?

regarding red wines, Pinot Noir is the king for me -from Bourgogne, of course !
is less heavy that cab or syrah, but much more noble

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinot_noir

even if the 90% of French exported wines come from Bordeaux, still the most noble region of France is Bourgogne

a second choice would be malbec (aka cot)

Hey, thanks!  I haven't tried one yet, so I'll look for one.  My local grocer has a very good selection, and I have seen some other French wines there.

Then the search begins!

if I can't find it locally, there is a place about an hour away from me that has an awesome wine shop.  I'll be there-- the girl that works there knows more about wine than I do about bikes!

I'll make you a list one of these days

IMPORTANT : before to buy some good wine (good doesn't mean expensive)
make sure you have some appropriate glasses
the glass is as important as is the wine

like this :

for a Bourgone red wine it's ok, for a more heavy wine you'll need a little bit more larger glass -and probably a caraf

Cool!  Thanks for the pics... I went out last spring and got two 'red wine' glasses, and they look much like the glass you have shown there.  However, I don't have a caraf... It's on the list!

And, I'll happily read a wine list whenever you have the time!

I hafta post this... ok, I don't hafta, but I finally got it all finished and I'm pretty proud of what I accomplished here.  I took all the plastic off and replaced it, installed a new exhaust, and it is super sassy!
