I know what you mean - we have the same security measures at work.

@no5: Serious question, what do you think of wines from places like Australia and South America and the like?

I think I am detecting a dual meaning to "sick" here....

I guess I have only been truly sick in all apsects of the word in Amsterdam.

No really, there is so much to see and do in Paris.
I think I've said this before, but I have been to Paris dozens of times....but I have never actually seen the Eiffel Tower.

4 years here I haven't even see the Eiffel tower
-yet I did *a lot*

they can be excellent (especially their red) as the clima there is so helpfull

still the production of wine requires some generations of knowledge behind
and maybe that's why even if I 've drunk some very good wines from there
I don't have drink still something elegant in the ways of Bourgogne, Bordeaux, or Alsace wines can be

I have enjoyed some South American wines but I am by no means an expert.

Um, ___no5, who messed with your user rating?

I know what you mean, no5. So, what about wines from Italy and Spain?

As a sidenote, I'm really into Australian Chardonnays at the mo.

you have to trust your taste ...

well I don't know, but it doesn't bother me ...it took me a while but I stuck out !! you can praise kick freely !!

the most difficult was when I had -55, 555 post and my under avatar text : the 5th Guest (or User)
at that time, any kick or praise was really painfull

Red wines from Chile (especially the Merlots) can be pretty damn good.

the only country that can compared with France for the moment is Italy -they have some killers
Spain I have drink some very nice things -in the ways of Chili

I'll tell you : commercially, a Chilian or Spanish wine can be more tastefull to more people
-you know this heavy taste and the sun inside your glass

I, am a white wine drinker (when I drink just to drink -not eat) and I prefer more cold grapes like chardonnay is

I have never drank any wine for the sole purpose of getting drunk. I think the heartburn would kill me.

I always admire terribly when I find an Englishman knowing the basic (which are already not bad at all) elements

one of my last days in the work I had an Engishman (I was behind the bar)
and I made him travel

after that night, he was caming every single night with his friends to make them new propositions
he was a rugby journalist, he was there for the 6 nations -his friends journalists too

I know some of us English (and British, for that matter) can be very naive towards wine, but there are some of us that do appreciate it. :D

I was considering to come to London these days to make you taste this white killer, but no passport  :(

so you have two options :
1) PM your adress and I send it to you by post
2) wait about a year
