NO!  I drink Carlsberg from bottle there because the last draft I got was so flaccid.  Yuck!

The way I lost was bogus.
 
Loosing is always bogus, sorry though.

I hate it when i get bad draft beer-- I'd rather drink it on tap, but some bars are nasty.

Once a bar serves you bad draft, never try draft from the bar again.  One of life's little rules.  I asked for Rickard's Red which is good on draft.  It has a strong flavour.  This came to me almost like water so I don't know what I got served.  The second serving was only a little bit better.

I understand some poker terminology, but not all... i pick up stuff from movies and such.  In what regards do you ask?

Just the way I lost was so unlucky.

Hmmmm... Baked potato coming right up for yours truly.
 
Well, if there was any terminology in that statement, then, no, I don't understand it.

However, unlucky is usually my case in poker. I haven't learned how to read the other players very well, and usually play off my cards, which is always a bad way to play.  My worst hand could win big, my best usually looses me all my chips.

Hey, I just hit 5 days, 15 hr and 5 min!!  (5-155) thats a good number!
 
I went all in with a pocket pair of queens.  The other guy had an ace and a ten.

On the flop comes a queen, but so does a jack and a low card.

I'm clearly winning.  The thing is he now has ten, jack, queen, and an ace.  The only thing missing is a king.

Guess what comes on the river?  That's right -- a king.  Argh!  No luck!

Thats a drag, he was betting on one card to show, and he got it...  sometimes I really worry about getting a pair of pocket face cards-- It always turns to shit for me.
 
I've won on a pair of jacks before.  It all depends on what others bet.  There are so many players in this bar, that I always play with someone I don't know.  I'm fairly new too. 

I still don't know my odds that well.  So that's the main reason I suck.  I bet on stuff I should not.  Take risks that never pay off.  Yet, they pay off for more experienced players.  So it must be in the odds and not just luck.
 
Yeah, there is more to odds and reading others in that game than anything else.  I know that many 'pros' say its not about luck at all.  I think, technically, that 'card counters' are not generally appreciated at card games-- so, its about people!
