Chasing Ponce De Leon's Phantoms
Was Bruce's work well received?Went off without a hitch. The contrast between the traditional hymn and the heavy metal worked surprisingly well.

One of my friends thought it was great, “a bop”, to quote her. I don’t think anyone really expected it but they all seemed to like it to some degree. Was Bruce's work well received?
I did not. I can do it, but it wouldn’t work too well in the classroom setting.I hope you sang it to the class Diesel.
I used to hate that word, now I use it every five minutes. Oh well.“a bop”
As you scream into the web of silence and all that jazz...I used to hate that word, now I use it every five minutes. Oh well.
I've never heard someone use that before.I used to hate that word, now I use it every five minutes. Oh well.
It's literally nothing more than a trendy way to address a song you think is great.I've never heard someone use that before.
But that's literally the point: if you think it's great, it's a bop.I think EOTC is great, but it’s hardly a bop.
I see a bop and more something you can move to, something that’s really movin’. Certainly the way I use it. “King in Crimson” is a bop, “Como Estais Amigos” is not, “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” is, etc.But that's literally the point: if you think it's great, it's a bop.
I'm not trendy. It's literally nothing more than a trendy way to address a song you think is great.
Me neither! I just started saying it out of the blue.I'm not trendy.
Granted I only heard it (mostly) on Taylor Swift reaction videos...I've never heard or read someone referring to a song as a "bop".
What the fuck is "bop"?
I see a bop and more something you can move to, something that’s really movin’.
It sure started that way, but it's not confined to dance-pop anymore. I've already seen the term being used across basically all kinds of different genres with certain frequency, and that's for a good few months now. It's almost always used to refer to dance pop songs, so that's not an unreasonable association.
