After a December of no flying, 2019 starts with new bumps in my road (or should I say taxiway) to the PPL. The fuel station at our airfield is closed for maintenance for two weeks, meaning our aircraft have to be tanked elsewhere. Will work out fine, if I'm lucky with the timing of other people's flying.
As if that isn't enough, I received an SMS from my primary instructor today, where he told that he's been in hospital with several broken ribs and will be grounded for the next two-three weeks ... fortunately, for the two scheduled lessons next week I was able to find backup instructors who had the time to fly with me. Provided the good weather we have right now returns by Thursday ...
