I wanted to make one few years ago but realized the hassle isn't worth it as I wouldn't wear it anywhere outside metal shows.

I believe the point is to express your taste in metal and other things. Some people want ones where they've only seen the bands live, but I don't think that's necessary. Is the point of a battle jacket to only wear patches from bands you've seen live?
I probably would.I wanted to make one few years ago but realized the hassle isn't worth it as I wouldn't wear it anywhere outside metal shows.
Luckily you don't have to have one!I don't want a battle jacket. I don't think it would suit me. I also don't want to confirm to fashion.
A Cheesejacket would be fun. There will be some cheese on mine, of course - Alestorm, Hammerfall, Gloryhammer.Manowar
Edit: There needs to be a Cheesejacket

Do it.I would get one and wear it to the jazz club.
I rarely see patches for sale at shows here, unfortunately. A lot of the bands I've seen struggle to even have tshirts. Now that I've made the decision to do it, I will of course be keeping my eyes open.Yeah it's just about representing bands you like but of course picking up patches and stuff at shows might make it more personal instead of just buying them online. Although both is fine really.
Hmm. I'm torn over what to get for the marquee locations on the back.
No, that's definitely the Book of Souls cover. I mean the spot immediately above and below, but I've decided - Sabaton and Iced Earth.Do you mean which large patch to have on the back?
It's Adrian Smith. Not practicing the solo for 'Alexander the Great' obviously. One of Iron Maiden is in Austin for the US Grand Prix today. I couldn't see which one, but David Coulthard said it was "the guitarist".
Must be Dennis Stratton.
One week of non-stop work finally complete. I'm truly exhausted.
