I saw a bloke called Rainbowdragoneyes supporting Alestorm, and he was a strange blend of corpse paint and Nintendo intros. I think he described his music as extreme chiptune dance metal.

Not so! I also listened to their debut album and it was quite enjoyable.

It's surprising to me how I've suddenly started enjoying more modern metal lately after disliking it for so long. Though if I ever get into A7X I'll be damned. My best friend is a fan and I just can't.
