Many, many years ago myself & a good friend went to the pub to play some pool. Although it was a £1 a game coin table, we ended up playing all day, in the end playing best-of 51 games. On that occasion I triumphed 26-21; pretty close. 15 years later, today, we tried to see if we had the stamina for that much pool again. Started at 11:15 this morning, finished (earlier than expected) at 16:45. Cried triumphed, again; 26-12 this time. Quite drunk...

What was your highest break? Or doesn't the "break" term apply in pool? (The only cue sport I'm watching regularly is snooker, so I honestly don't know).

Best-of 51 divides into three "sessions" of 17 games. It was that serious! Anyway, at the end of session one I "seven-balled" (a "granny" is what we call it) my opponent i.e. I cleared all of my seven balls & the black without him having sunk anything.

Nice score Cried.
I played some pool few days ago after not playing it for couple of years. Needless to say, I sucked :)

OK, so the balls on the table are divided into two sets, yours and your opponent's, and the goal is to sink your seven before the opponent can sink his. No points for each ball like in snooker. Have I got it?
