There's no way of stopping the fancy dress culture of dressing up as a national stereotype. Even Prince Harry went to a part in an SS officer's uniform.
I love how you consider an SS uniform a national stereotype.

That wasn't the university. That was the students union, or guild, or whatever.
Well that was poorly worded on my part.I love how you consider an SS uniform a national stereotype.
That takes it a little far, and you know it. Political correctness =/= Nazism.Same thing though .... some official board with power .. who fo the most part probably would feel right at home wearing SS uniforms
Funny you should mention that. Our oldest and most prestigious university (which yours truly graduated, of course ) is currently being "occupied" by students who refuse to let anyone in and won't have classes until the government resigns. I've mentioned before that there are anti-government demonstrations here and today its their... let me check... about 140th day. More universities have been joining, along with professors. I'm proud of these guys.Universities are supposed to be bastions of free speech and expression ... that is less and less the case day by day.
Really?It's not funny.
Really?

No, it's not.
There's a difference between minor academic sanctions and deportation to Dachau. In terms of free speech .. it is not really all that far off .. say something we deem wrong and there will be some form of punishment
Yes. Many people on the internet often erroneously accuse those in authority of Nazism or Communism. There's a difference between minor academic sanctions and deportation to Dachau.
I refuse to be drawn into this conversation.

I'm out now.Aren't you already in?
That's it. Self-deport yourself to Dachau.Eh...
