While Meat Loaf's Bat Out Of Hell 3 might be considered a mixed bag, the opening track is bloody marvelous. Desmond Child proves again he is nothing short of a genius.

I can't tell which version I prefer, sometimes Cake wins.

In other news I had a very very good game, but my partner played just acceptably. So we lost. 6-3, 6-3.
They had superior service (a fucking key point) and better returns.

We could win, if we were both playing at 85 -90%. Not an easy task. Nevermind.

So what time's this near-miss asteroid going to turn up?
And will it be anywhere near as terrifying as that Russian meteor shower?

Well, it's a near miss in scientific terms, but it's a long, long, long way off, although I'm told it'll be possible to see it

I don't know, maybe you've been in Malaysia once :) I've seen it in 2011 & '12 from Thailand.
So you seem to like the stars, too bad you are far away :D
..I've purchased an App, StarWalk that shows you in real time all the constellations, using the integrated gyro & accelerometer of the iPhone. There's a version for Android just in case. I've learned some stuff -mostly for seduction purposes, but I really love Southern Cross.

I made time lapse with a friend of Southern Cross and it's amazing how its axis shows always the South during its night tract.. Some 10 countries or more have integrated it on their flags!!

Cool! I could spend hours watching one of those. I've been looking a Jupiter recently, and that's impressive. You can tell you're looking at a big planet, not a star.
Yeah, the Southern Cross is a bit of an iconic symbol :)

I've been told that the night sky tells a story. I'd like to trace that story. For instance, there is Orion with his dog, opposite from Taurus (Orion was a hunter) and Lynx (big cat)

Another example: Perseus & Andromeda are very close to each other (as they were in life).. But I'd like to find the story to link all these. Or even invent it from the separated stories of the constellations.
