Trivia time:
Maiden has a dozen songs nine minutes or longer.
Without looking, name them.

Not looking at Mosh's answer,

Rime of the Ancient Mariner
Sign of the Cross
When the Wild Wind Blows
Dream of Mirrors
The Nomad
The Talisman
Isle of Avalon
The Legacy
For the Greater Good of God
Brighter Than a Thousand Suns
The Thin Line Between Love and Hate
Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger

Although I'm pretty sure I'm wrong on about half of these. My brain isn't quite awake yet.

New season, time for a major MP3 player refit. Queen stay the way they are. Iced Earth, Manowar, Amon Amarth and Geist go completely. Iron Maiden get a new and severely trimmed playlist. From a total of 56 tracks down to twenty, mostly different ones. The refit Maiden playlist looks like this:

The Man Who Would be King (new)
When the Wild Wind Blows
Isle of Avalon (new)
Starblind
For the Greater Good of God
Ghost of the Navigator
Brave New World
The Edge of Darkness (new)
Fortunes of War
Blood on the World's Hands
Judas be my Guide (new)
Fates Warning (new)
Only the Good Die Young (new)
Sea of Madness (new)
Caught Somewhere in Time
To Tame a Land (new)
The Trooper
Children of the Damned
Prodigal Son (new)
Phantom of the Opera (new)

Enter the new artists:
Immortal with two complete albums, Sons of Northern Darkness and Battles in the North
A small selection from the works of Ronnie James Dio:

The Temple of the King
A Light in the Black
Gates of Babylon
Children of the Sea
Falling off the Edge of the World
Shadow of the Wind
Follow the Tears
The Last in Line
Hide in the Rainbow
All the Fools Sailed Away
This is Your Life
As Long as it's not about Love
Better in the Dark
The End of the World

And finally, a conoisseur's digest of Bruce Dickinson:

River of No Return
Navigate the Seas of the Sun
Acoustic Song
Silver Wings
Trumpets of Jericho
Chemical Wedding
Jerusalem
Road to Hell
Accident of Birth
Darkside of Aquarius
Omega
Solar Confinement
I Will not Accept the Truth
Inertia
Change of Heart
Tears of the Dragon
Hell No

That should keep me warm for the rest of December.

Without looking it up, I think BTATS should not be on the list, whereas The Angel and the Gambler should. I'm also unsure about Isle of Avalon, and I'm considering Alexander the Great.

The long of it:

Rime 13:34
Sign of the Cross 11:17
Wild Wind 11:02
Seventh Son 9:54
Angel and the Gambler 9:53
For the Greater Good of God 9:25
The Legacy 9:23
Dream of Mirrors 9:21
Nomad 9:06
Avalon 9:06
Talisman 9:03
The Clansman 9:00

Wonder what Pilau's mom would think of that playlist

You raise up your head
And you ask, "Is this where it is ?"
And somebody points to you and says
"It's his"
And you say, "What's mine ?"
And somebody else says, "Where what is ?"
And you say, "Oh my God am I here all alone ?"
