Hey, I just recently bought AMoLaD (I'm starting to build my Maiden collection) and I saw it had a bonus DVD with it, did you guys also get this?

No, I didn't get the album until that edition was OOP. I saw it used once though but passed, I think if I ever see it again I might pick it up, I love music docs and that one has a track by track. And of course the music videos. I'm sure most of the forum members who got it when it came out have that version.

Yeah I went birthday shopping on the 6th and got AMoLaD and Somewhere in Time, my third and first favorite Madien albums.

Cool. Any birthday money I get is going into this:

That one there is 199. But it's a 7 string. What you need is a basic startup guitar. Best thing to go with imo is an acoustic. It doesn't matter what brand, just something to get you started.

Yeah I was looking through on Ebay for some guitars, might run down to the pawn shop tomorrow to see what they have. Thanks for making me want a guitar Mosh.

I've never been in a pawn shop but I'm sure you can find one there.

Yes, congratulations on getting the limited first edition. ;) I remember it was twice as expensive as the normal edition back then, but we had to have it nonetheless.

Awesome, there is some pretty cool mini-documentary on the making of the album and a video for Benjamin Breeg.

That's it, next time I see the Limited Edition I'm buying it. I'll trade in my old AMOLAD and Balls to Picasso for it.

I know, but I'd rather have the DVD. I've seen the doc before. I've bought Best of the Beast just to have it, it won't hurt to get AMOLAD.

Quick question: was Virus ever played live by Iron Maiden?
I'll answer to myself: no.

There is an excellent live version by Blaze on the As Live as it Gets album, which is highly recommendable, to say the least.

That entire album is a must have. I like it more than the first two solo albums.
