Cut him some slack, it can be really fucking boring in the military especially if you're a long time away from home.  There are times when you just can't think of anything better to do than phone a friend, and text just can't completely replace speech.  Trust me, you'll have the same feeling at some point once you start your service. 
 
No I won't. I'll have about an hour a day in my (3-5 other people in it) room. A bit in the morning, a bit in the evening. My cousin is going through the same course I'm going to be in, so I have a pretty good idea on what to expect.
Anyway, even if I do have some free time, I'll play my DS! Poor bastard got his Iphone stolen, so he's only got his new blackberry. No games though. Not that the Iphone is worth anything, but at least it has peggle on it!


Foamy the squirrel is awesome. I can't believe I'm just seeing the videos now for the first time! I've seen some photos of him around, but never thought twice about it.
 
It can get lonely even in a room full of other people when said people are mostly idiots.  Also, games (and music, which I preferred) only help you so far.

Damn, why the fuck isn't Mayhem fest coming here! We get skipped by so many great tours! Oh well. We got Moody Blues and Jethro Tull in June. It would be better if they were together. That would be one INCREDIBLE night! We're gonna try to make at least one of them.

Just woke up from a horrible multipart dream.
The only one I can remember clear enough is that I sit in a bar with H (holy shit right?) and he offers me a job as the new drummer. I say that I don't play drums, and suddenly I jump forward in time. It appears that because I said no, they released to glam metal albums (the first of which is actually called "Glam"), BEFORE Brave New World, and that they released BNW and DoD as a double album afterwards. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO


Oh, and another part I remember is me and my brother and dad all working at the same place I work in, but it's a hell of alot more sweat-shop-y.

Speaking of beer, my January no-alcohol detox is going to be severely tested on Friday when I go out on a pub crawl. I'll drive in to make sure, but soft drinks for a whole evening when everyone around is getting pished is 'kin difficult.

I just don't post at all at times lol. I used to post for posting sake, but in the past couple of years it doesn't appeal as much as it used to. Threads must die natural deaths :p

That is a sign of a maturing person.  It's almost sad to see people growing up on the web...
