Seriously, I've tried lotions and neck rubs and a hot water bottle but nothing seems to work.
Any tips? I'm going to Disney world in 3 days, I really will die on a roller coaster if this thing carries on.

I've had it happen while sleeping and it went away the next day after sleeping correctly again.

Hate to say this, but it can also be sickness.  There are glands on the back of your neck that can swell and make your neck feel stiff. If it doesn't go away after a few days, see a doc...

I don't think it is, it's pretty much a stiff neck.
It's also alot better after a night's sleep, it should be gone by tomorrow.
But that's not good at all, 12 hours of sleeping (hopefully) in an airplane is not the best thing ever for a sore neck.

So, survived the first full week of work--quite the change!  Gotta say, I really like the new gig. 

For followup to the work week, I spent half of my Saturday replacing a wheel bearing in my car! meh.
