legendary LED ZEPPELIN OBJECT finally came in by post today, hand crafted in New Jersey.originally seen on Zeppelin's 1976 "Presence" album cover artwork - now also in my living room.

I have no idea on its origin, but the Presence album cover is based on that very object. front, back and inner album design showing the object in different situations. it's a really weird concept. I like it a lot, you can find it easily via google search and key words led zeppelin presence album cover. and cool album btw, very underrated. Achilles Last Stand is one of the best Plant/Page studio performances imho.

I always thought that Led Zep's "object" concept was borrowed from Kubrick's Monolith in 2001 Odyssey. @Dick Brucinson

C’est génial que ton objet légendaire de LED ZEPPELIN soit enfin arrivé ! Le fait qu’il soit fait main dans le New Jersey ajoute vraiment une valeur unique et authentique à cette pièce. Le lien avec la pochette de l’album Presence de 1976 rend la chose encore plus spéciale, surtout pour un fan du groupe. Avoir un morceau de l’histoire du rock Betify dans son salon, c’est un vrai plaisir, à la fois pour l’esthétique et pour le souvenir musical qu’il évoque. Ça doit donner une ambiance incroyable à la pièce et montrer fièrement ton amour pour le groupe.
