King Diamond to play live in 2012!

King Diamond is finally back after a six year absence due to King's debilitating back injury and more recently a triple bypass.
King recently played live with his other band, Mercyful Fate, as a guest at Metallica's 30th birthday and pulled off an epic performance. This gig raised the hopes of his loyal fanbase that a return to touring and hopefully a new album was in the works.
So I was checking the KD website today and came across the news us fans had long been hoping for...King Diamond is back on the road. Below is his post on the KD website. I won't be in europe in June but can't wait to find out the setlist and hope they tour Australia soon.

FINALLY.

We can now officially announce King Diamond's return to the stage.
We will be headlining the Rock Stage at Sweden Rock Festival on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
