Just A Question

Hi everyone. I'm a huge maiden fan just like the lot of you here and have a question I would like to ask...

I've been a maiden fan for a very long time and it has always been my dream to maybe meet the band... Up until a couple of days ago I always consider it impossible. I know that it still may not ever happen and while I would love to meet Steve and co. I know that now, there probably aren't many people that get that lucky. My question is about backstage or VIP passes. Do Maiden still offer backstage/VIP passes? If so, how should I go about obtaining one? I have heard the rumors that Maiden will come to the states in January and if so than I shall travel very far to see them just like I do everytime they hit the states. I am a member of the official fan club and was thinking that maybe through that somehow I could get these passes, that is, if Maiden even offer them. If anyone has any info. on how to go about getting a pass, please let me know. All replies will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
 
You could just hang around after the show... my best bud goes to tons of concerts and he arrives early and leaves late and talks to everybody from the sound guy to the band members.... I don't see why maiden would be any different.

I think "Maidenfreak" has met Steve Harris so he could tell you about that. He has also met Blaze Bayley but that was after he left Maiden [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\";)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /]
 
Apparently the fanclub offer that sort of compatition once in a while.

Other then that, sucking off security might be your only opition.

I'm thinking that the fanclub do it for strictly UK shows. Don't hold me to that cause I'm not 100 % sure. I'm thinking about maybe making some phone calls when shows are released and seeing if I can't find out who is promoting the tour. That probably wouldnt work but its worth the try. Even if I never meet maiden it will be ok because I understand that not many people get the opportunity. Anyways my Eddie's Archive set just came in the mail so I'm gonna go admire it. Up the Irons!

He's met basically the whole band man, past and present

But I do know that Freaky has met all current members, plus Blaze and Di'Anno.

Wow thats great. Any of you others even had the opportunity to meet them?

Meeting Blaze and Paul is not that hard, they play small clubs and being there early or staying there after the gig will do the trick.

With Maiden it's not that easy. I met them down to pure luck and a good friend's hint. It also took me a few years and several unsuccesful tries until I finally got to talk to my idols [img src=\"style_emoticons/[#EMO_DIR#]/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\";)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /]

So even if the others have probably raised your hopes that I could help, I'm afraid I'll have to disappoint you. Sorry

Ahh I've never had my hopes real high because I've always knew that the chances wouldn't be that great. It's still extremely cool that you got to meet them.
