Judas Priest tour announcement coming next month

Plains is incredible live — it and Realms seem to be hit and miss on the set list.
This is off the top of my head, but I've never seen or heard of them playing Run of the Mill in the past 30 years and they always play Manalishi.
The Nostradamus tour was odd because they only played two songs from that album (Prophecy, Death), so they may rectify that this time.
And I really like the one from each album idea. That could really spin out some surprise cuts.
I saw Rob solo in the fall and he is still sounding great.
One thing is guaranteed: I have never seen the band do a bad show.
You are going to love it.

Foro, did read your comment and then put ROTM straight away for a spin. What a wonderful song and really poignant lyricism! Shame that Ian stopped evolving as a bass played pretty soon into their career 'cos Rocka Rolla has great bass lines and this is one of his best moments ever, if not the best. :edmetal:

@Jeff: Yeah, unfortunately Ian Hill's bass playing went way more to the background since the mid eighties, where Priest's sound became way more a guitar/drums assault. Hill can't even be heard anymore on Painkiller, and I am hardly exaggerating here.

Great set mckindog, I have a 5-5-1984 bootleg -on MP3-, called "Long Beach Metallians", which is the best unofficial Priest live recording ever made, I guess.

This is one of the best first halfs of a concert I can imagine:

This was the set list:
Love Bites
Jawbreaker
Grinder
Metal Gods
Breaking the Law
Sinner
Desert Plains
Some Heads Are Gonna Roll
The Sentinel
Rock Hard, Ride Free

I have seen Priest twice, the first time being in 2004. Check this -by my wife filmed- awesome footage of Painkiller.

The band was superb that night, and Halford too. Too bad I have never found a bootleg of that show. Most other recordings from that 2004 tour he was worse in shape.

@BThunder: looks like a realistic set, apart from ROTM, though I wish I was wrong.

Where are you from? I'm going to that concert as well.

I'm from Montenegro, but since I'm on a summer holiday, I will be at my grandparents' house for a while in Serbia.

Whitesnake is the supporting act

Plains is incredible indeed! Realms are all depending on Rob and his performance. Otherwise, it's awesome too!
Only 2 songs from Nostradamus? It looks like they are sticking to more on their earlier classics - which is great! I have never been a fan of the post-Painkiller material...
I heard A Touch Of Evil: Live, and Rob is still great.
There's nothing more to do than wait for the SHOW TO BEGINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!  :edmetal:  :shred:

I named a couple of classics and mixed them. I have never been to a concert before in my life. Most of the songs I named I saw on live albums, etc. ... and threw in a couple of new songs, and... Viola.

EDIT: Look at the set-list section here.

Ehh? Rob Halford bent for leather? (Halford wears no leather*?   )

This looks uncomfortable.

This is the reason they stopped toured.

Either the touring became too heavy because the leather and metal became too heavy.
Either Halford had to wear this, and it looked ridiculous.

Now I see why they call it quits.  :)

*alright, he wears some, but the layer is underneath that...that thing.

I think the reason they didn't do much off that album was because they were planning on doing it in its entirety. I didn't know they only did 2 though. That is very odd.

Also it appears the UK dates have leaked:

Hm, if I remember correctly, there are two types of seats - one is closer to the stage and costs 3900 RSD, and the other one is 3500 RSD. I suggest you buy the fan pit ones  Just come earlier so that you can be closer to the stage in fan-pit ;)
I copied this from Beogradska Arena website:
Fan Pit 3,500
Parter 2,800
Level 200 Golden Seats 3,900
Level 200 Silver Seats
Loze 6,000

Trivia:
As you all know, Richie Faulkner is the new guitarist for Judas Priest. He also plays in Lauren Harris' (Steve Harris' daughter) band. He also played in a band called Dirty Deeds (now called Deeds), which had its first two albums released for Beast Records, a record company run by Steve Harris (which is now closed, as far as I know). What do you think, maybe Steve Harris suggested this guy to Judas Priest?

Hmm, I doubt if they'd know (and like) eachother well enough to do that. Maybe it was a management / record company thing?

And doesn't KK Downing (and maybe others) have a grudge on Iron Maiden or something?

Find out, on the next episode of Coronation Street!

Seriously, guys...  :whogivesafuck:

Faulkner lives near Glenn.

That was a long time ago. During the early-mid 80's. There's a pic of him around 1990 with a NPFTD shirt.
