Honestly, I adore all of the songs left. True, I probably prefer NC and The Sentinel a little more, but to me, it's really, really hard to choose between PK, BTROD and VoC.

Nope. They are called survivors. Make the songs you like best survive. No one cares about the songs that were eliminated first.
It's more about the winners (e.g. top 10).

Why does it read "vote for your least favourite song" instead of "vote for the songs you want to fall out so your favourite will stay in" then?
People can vote for whatever they want, it's not an issue for me, just sharing my thoughts on the meaning of survivors.

To make sure that people do not vote for their favourite songs. Sometimes people who are new to the game (especially in the beginning) vote for their favourite songs instead of least favourites, but nowadays it's still "handy" to be sure, since there are other type of games that work different. I am not taking it too literally.

Perhaps not completely related, but in the show Survivor, which is what this game is based on, you can see contestants trying to eliminate a person that isn't actually the weakest one of the bunch in order to promote their agenda. So it actually does come with the territory in a way.

Only partially correct. The Survivor games were an idea I took from DTF. Their inspiration may have been the TV show; our version here was always a forum game.

Edit to clarify: I have only seen one episode of the TV show, and didn't like it. I assure you, it played absolutely no role in how I ran those games.

Sinner died too soon. :( Especially since it was before Electric Eye, which I don't think should be anywhere near here.
 
Night Crawler, Sentinel, Realms of Death

The longer Electric Eye survives, the greater my amusement. Over/under on people complaining is 4.5, and Unknown One is already #1. :p
