japan cd's and more

Greetings! Does anyone know the history behind the most recent japanese cd pressings w/ the black OBI? Certain titles are so much more harder to get than others and prices are just horrendous. One site mentioned that these latest enhanced cd-rom pressings are technically out of print this last month. Does anyone else have any info on the details or recommendations to get Japan cd's at a good price? Does anyone ever post their pix of Maiden goodies. Or any info on the Canadian Royal Mountie cd's w/ eddie on the sleeve for sale anywhere? thnx for reading my many questions
