I see. For tactical reasons I will also vote for at least two of these songs.

But seriously.... Mother Russia is such a much more powerful song than The Talisman, which no one dares to touch. Well, my vote for that one would be a wasted vote anyway, and I want to protect The Duellists and Prowler as well.


Five(!) songs from TFF in this Quarter Final will make it easier for some of those songs to progress.

Hey SinisterMinisterX, what happens if one of the Brave New World songs gets voted out in this series? Would #2 stay in the poll and the #1 get pulled out to wait for the Semis? Or would both stick around now?

To answer Unknown One's question: no. No more promotions. Those songs made it to the QFs of their own volition - now the game's afoot.

LC is correct. He asked me about this very thing in the chat some time ago.


Weird ... I just looked, and this isn't in the official rules. I thought it was there. I know I typed it; I must have cut it out when I edited. (The first draft of the rules was quite verbose.)

Anyway, I think BNW is doing just fine, so I wouldn't worry about it. In addition to the 3 songs currently listed, there are 2 more BNW songs in the Finals. So the best songs from BNW still have a fair shot. (Except for The Nomad, which you heartless bastards killed. :p )
