Black Thunder is right: we also tried it with songs, and it died from lack of interest.

The problem with those games is they last forever. These don't. Survivors sometimes move fast, sometimes slow, but they always end.
Also the voting here is automated. You wouldn't believe how many petty disagreements there were when people got their math wrong in those old games.
