Iron Maiden Songs That Make You Emotional

Yeah. I have dozens of records and every Maiden album on vinyl including the newer releases except for Brave New World. Everyone wants like $200 for them on ebay... May have to bite the bullet one day. Love my old REO Speedwagon, Def Leppard and Slayer vinyls too. Hell Awaits is so awesome on vinyl.
 
Only Brave New World seems to fetch that much. Only one on Ebay now is $299.99 and is new/unopened and is the original from 2000 as a picture disc set. I used our local record store "Tower Records" to obtain the originals of all the 80s albums over a period of 2 years and recently bought the re-released ones to put in the box set for collecting. The originals I actually play on my stereo

Indeed. I used ebay to grab all the reunion era albums back through Rock In Rio at good prices, but BNW would have broken the bank. Price has actually come down, a couple years ago it was $500 for an unopened picture disc.
 
I bought most (all?; I can't remember) of the albums, up to the 90's live albums, on just normal vinyl years back. Not played them in many years though; don't have a deck anymore or the room for it right now. Didn't really explore getting any of the newer releases & didn't realise BNW was so troublesome/expensive to acquire. Good to know.
 
By now, I wouldn't be surprised if Rock In Rio was just as rare. That one (unopened) cost me $150 back in 2011. The rest (again, reunion era) were easy to find.
 
Brave New World in general has been hard to acquire for a long time. You had to pretty much buy the CD or album even today. It is a true masterpiece too and is my top 3 Maiden albums. Insane to know they were fetching $500 a while ago

Possibly related to demand. I got my vinyl when En Vivo came out - bought that one for the hell of it and started working backwards. It's possible that a new Maiden album had prices going up across the board... but a jump of $200 just from En Vivo inspired demand sounds like way too much.

It might be interesting to check ebay prices again after the 16th album comes out and see if there's any increase.
