Can an exact date for Running Free Live on Rock and Pop 1980 be determined? [Resolved, but pending verification]

November 8, 1980

-What dates are the individual recordings on Maiden Japan?

All tracks were recorded at Kosei Nenkin Hall, Nagoya, Japan, May 23, 1981 - I have the bootleg

-Is the recording of Live After Death VHS 16.03.1985?

Yes, I have all the other nights and have compared the audio between the bootlegs and the video.

-What dates are the individual recordings of the Clive Burr MS Trust Fund gigs (Brixton Academy)?

All come from March 21, 2002

-Is it possible to distinguish between the two nights at Birmingham NEC recorded for Maiden England?

I dunno this one since no bootlegs are available

-Contradictory information on the recordings from Behind the Iron Curtain needs to be cleared up

I think you messed up "Women in Uniform" from Live!!+One. The track is the "+One" part of the EP, the studio track.

And "Remember Tomorrow" from The Number of the Beast single is not even remotely "live from Italy" as stated by Rod. Its instrumental part was taken from Maiden Japan and Bruce's vocals were done in studio.

The 9 track Live+one is the tracks from the original 4 track Live+one plus Maiden Japan and I've got the Fire from the Sanctuary single

I found another officially released live version of BQOBD, the Made in Holland CD Single of Fear of the Dark Live contains this track instead of BYDTTS as featured on the UK CD Single. Again, it's mislabelled as being from Mannheim, when in fact it is the version from Donington.

Also, your post is great and maybe needs either a link from the first post in the thread, or even better it's own thread.

This should be from the Futureal single. The Angel and the Gambler contains a version of MOTE but it is the video from Israel where the audio is the studio version.

This date is wrong, I've compared the bootleg with the single and basing it on how Bruce sings a couple of lines of vocals in both versions I'm certain they are not the same. So Children of the Damned does not come from the 3rd night, which was 21st March.

EDIT: HA, HA I just realised that I compared the b-side of RTTH 2002, which is from Hammersmith 82 not clive aid :lol: I was focusing on vocal phrasing but failed to notice Bruce was 20 years older in one of the recordings!

The vocal intro could be from a different gig, or it could have been edited off Death on the Road, but I'm fairly sure the rest of the audio is the same, although I checked no more than the intro.
 
While on the subject of live material, any word, if at all, of Maiden releasing an official blu-ray/DVD of the Book of Souls Live Chapter? I want that inside of me where I keep my soul.

Actually, I seem to remember it was the studio version with some audience noise dubbed in.
