Iron Maiden Sells Half of Their Catalog, Name And Likeness Rights to Pophouse Entertainment

A virtual show could be cool only if they amped up the Eddie theatrics to overload settings, pretty much. Every song there's some Eddie, and always something to look at.

As for the comic, I wasn't impressed. It reminded me a little of the old Evil Ernie stuff from the Chaos! Comics days, and I preferred the Lady Death stuff over that. If I recall, Eddie's followed around by a lady prophet type character who does most of the talking, while Eddie mostly grunts. Some might like it, so if you want to check it out, they have both runs in a pair of TPB collections. But no, it's not running anymore, probably since it was tied to the now shut-down mobile game.

I do expect kiss to do this. I dont expect maiden to do that. Maybe as a video show as you say with eddie. But if at the documental we were 25 in the cinema and in thr megadeath documental we were 8.... i dont see this working, the whole thing about thr avatars or eddie.

I think nobody will watch that apart from the first weeks in the cinema or whatever they do with them. Usually at the cinemas when its a documentary/ film of any rock band the cinema its empty
I know Pophouse has been working on getting ABBA Voyage to the States for awhile. While the show's doing huge business in London (I mean, 9 #1 UK singles'll probably get you that), I don't think it'd sell as hot in the US. Kiss I don't think has the demand for a full show with its own venue, but if Pophouse rented out space at one of the resorts in Vegas for their own branded theater, I could see them doing well alternating both shows.

Maybe the sphere....but do you see many rock/metal fans watching this? I dont think so. But lets see what that pophouse do with the band. We will see with the tshirths

So Pophouse will help them to be the best cabaret band ever ?

A webstore as good as Kiss with era-specific collections would be a major step up in Maiden’s merch operations. Which, as we mustn’t forget, as recently as a decade ago was still Steve Lazarus and Sue running a small warehouse themselves for the IMFC ….

By comparison this is a gold standard:
Yes i would say that the tshirt merch could be much better. For sure during 80s and 90s tshirt were much better or at least i think that. Maybe the new generations love the tshirts. But tshirt from eras would be great

Yes, the merch went through a nose dive in quality a few years back. The bright yellow SIT jumper was a nadir. It has recovered a bit by now, plus there are so many other outlets putting out Maiden shirts under official licence to select from (EMP etc).

But the official Maiden webstore has merch from random selections of eras. They need a professional operation that stocks a good selection of shirts from all 17 studio album eras - and to do that permanently, with an evergreen webstore.

Not the strange ‘blink and you miss it’ anniversary releases the official webstore has these days.

They also need outside eyes to vet the quality of some of the designs they stock.
