Powerslave Eddie (alone) was a great backdrop (for some songs like RTTH and 22AA) during World Slavery Tour.
This one was used INSTEAD of the golden pharaonic mask for smaller venues?Powerslave Eddie (alone) was a great backdrop (for some songs like RTTH and 22AA) during World Slavery Tour.
Probably because of King Diamond/Mercyful Fate (curse of the pharaohs)At the Monsters of Rock shows in 1996 they incorporated some Powerslave themes in the promotion and the stage set! To bad the audience only got one song from Powerslave! (2 Minutes to Midnight).
The promoters must be named the festival as Pharaohs of Rock and some Mummies aliveProbably because of King Diamond/Mercyful Fate (curse of the pharaohs)
I will always be mad that they didn't do a proper video release of that tour. It was one of the strongest setlists they've ever done too. Even AMOLAD got some love. The backdrops were incredible on this tour. However, what I would give to see Maiden in the Legacy of the Beast cathedral again. That was stunning.
One of the best (non-Eddie) ones for sure. I thought they would use a Celtic warrior Eddie, but the art create such special imagery in the live setting. The Death of the Celts backdrop is probably the best they've ever had.
Yes, some of the very best backdrops they've ever produced. The cathedral was a thing of beauty! Curious to see if big screen/s can replace all of that. The backdrops were incredible on this tour. However, what I would give to see Maiden in the Legacy of the Beast cathedral again. That was stunning.
