My favorite movie as a kid, and apart from some cheesy special effects at the very end, it holds up well. I'll probably check this out.

Just saw the episode of the Big Bang Theory where they are waiting in line to see the re release of Raiders of the Lost Ark and then of course hilarity ensues. I would love to see that! Thanks for the link.

Here in America, I remember seeing a movie with a very similar title when I was a kid.
It was simply called "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
I think it was shown in movie theaters the same year as "The Road Warrior"...
just a few years after "Star Wars".

Indy in IMAX was really cool. The picture was just amazing as were the soound effects/music. I had not seen this in the theater since it was originally released (not sure if they have done other re-releases). Highly recommended if you get a chance to catch it. It is a fun movie to watch with a crowd.
