If Maiden does "Maiden England"

Do you think we could get a petition going to have them play "Flight of Icarus"????  That is my favorite Maiden song, by far, and as best as I can tell, has not been played live since the "World Slavery" tour!  I wonder why that is? I know Steve always thought the song was too slow, but I don't know...I think it's great!!  I need to see this live, and was pretty disappointed that on the "Ed Hunter" tour they did not play it! :mad:

If they didn't do it on the Eddie Rips Up The World or SBIT tours, I don't see them doing it on a Maiden England tour. No big loss, there are better songs, and hopefully we might get some treats from Somewhere In Time
 
Not much chance, agreed, especially with Harris who doesn't like it that much.
 
They (H Bruce and Steve) can't agree on a tempo to play it and want to avoid conflict so they simply don't play it.
 
Than Maiden live versions. And I think the discussion (Nicko's account) was especially about the studio version.
 
Maybe Steve just doesn't like it then. Or Bruce and H had just adapted to playing it fast.
 
As insane it sounds, I'm afraid Maiden really forgot that they have some pearls left in their treasure chest.
They only focus on well known and well tested diamonds.

Someone needs to tell them they have more, that's all.
 
Actually, that makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case.
 
I agree 100%, Revelations had never really clicked with me prior to seeing it on SBIT, when I did see it live it completely blew me away - it's terrific.
