A year ago, it would have been A Question of Heaven, undoubtedly.

But no. I want to see Stygian win, entirely based on the Alive in Athens version.

 

[Diesel 11]

A Question Of Heaven is one of the most emotional songs ever, it builds to a fantastic climax, Barlow absolutely nails his performance and then some, and it’s about a fucking comic book character to boot.

Stygian is good, great even, but Iced Earth wrote a better song about hell on the very next album. Stygian.

This one is tough, but Heaven was the song that sold me on Iced Earth and convinced me they were more than just a power metal band (mostly thanks to Barlow’s performance).
