I sure hope we don't have to wait another 4 years!...

I have a feeling it'll be 3/4 years or never. I wouldn't expect one soon:

2011: TFF tour
late 2012/ 2013: Classics
2014: New album.
 
My guess would be:

2011: TFF tour.
2012/13: History part III tour (with shitloads of classics)
2014/15: New album with tour.
2015/16: Adios tour.

I think they said they'd like to get the next album out faster.  So I'd say maybe 2 or 3 years until the next album.  I'd say 2013 probably.
 
2 or 3 years would be nice.  if they do another catalog tour, I hope it is not the same as Somewhere back in Time (as great as that was, I'd like to see them mix it up a bit).
 
I hope this unashamed tour with all the greatest hits isn't going to be the last thing we will get from Maiden.
After all these previous interviews I was really optimistic that TFF was not their last REAL album (not one with b-sides and covers) but now this little sentence by Bruce got me thinking.  :S
 
I honestly think Maiden will keep going until something happens that means they can't do it any more, whatever that may be.

I can't see Steve ever calling it a day. He has lived and breathed Maiden all his adult life, he would probably be empty without it.

Here,bruce says clearly that after this year and next year world tour to support "the final frontier",they will do a tour with their best hits and that it could be the final one. So after this one there will be for sure antoher tour but maybe not another studio album and not another history tour!
 
I just can't see them stopping now. This album is so successful, and if they really want to make another album they definitely will. How long we will have to wait is a good question, and I think it depends on when the next best-of tour will be.

Next year they will focus on the Final Frontier. And if the best-of tour is in 2012, I think a new album will be released in 2013. If the best-of tour is in 2013, I think they will release a new album in 2014.
 
We're probably going to have to wait another 3 years before a new Maiden album surfaces again. 

In the meantime, we can look forward to Maiden England finally being released on DVD and presumably a live album from some tour.  That's fine with me.  Maiden has been pretty good about getting something out every year since Bruce and Adrian rejoined.  There's still a lot to look forward to.

Yeah, that's my guess too. Because after every album tour, Maiden has to do another "greatest hits" one.
 
I'm not opposed to a greatest hits tour, but would like to a see a different one than the recent ones.

Maybe do something similar to Ed Hunter (fan pick) or a pick 1 song per album (I know I am dreaming here) tour.
