Actually, Powerslave is the one where the idea kind of works for me because it adds a bit of bombast to the logo. It would work better if it were more integrated to the artwork itself rather than just pasted on, but still. On the other hand, I've always hated the big logo variant of SIT.

I think the big classic font in black/white looks pretty sweet and suitable on the X-Factor.

The reason I appreciate it is because I like that little look into an alternate reality and appreciate the work that went into it. With that said, I’ve always felt that as great as the design for Powerslave is, something about the colors struck me as faded, or something to that effect. With the bigger and more bombastic logo I think it accentuates the actual artwork and makes it look even more monumental. But that’s just me.
