I hate VH1 Classic

By the way... the VH1 schedule is just a week off, that's all. They ran the Maiden stuff last Friday night, a week later than announced.

Or at least they ran the TNOTB Classic Albums show. I saw it in the bar with no sound (DJ was playing songs instead of running the TV audio). By the time it was over, my band was onstage, so I don't know if they ran Rock In Rio after that.

So, everyone please stop whining (if you were whining) and just watch a week later.

(And if you were not whining before, you may now begin!)

I think VH-1 is scared toshow anything to do with Iron Maiden on their channel because everyone who has watched VH-1 and MTV over the years would come to realize that all they really show or play is crap. Plus I don't think the powers that be at the Network really like Eddie and the boys, because Bruce really flames MTV. He has really said some bad but true things about MTV over the years. Watch the Live After Death DVD and you'll see what I mean. Plus the feud with Sharon (who is in M TV Networks' back pocket) did'nt help their cause any. If you have watched the 20 Greatest Rock Feuds they come in at #6. They only showed the Osbourne Camp's side of the story. But I've seen other stories on that sad affair on You Tube and other websites that were more fairer than MTV's. In my honest opinion, I think it really burns MTV's ass that they are'nt needed by Maiden to sell Maiden Albums or help promote their tours. I don't need to see anything about Iron Maiden on VH-1 or MTV because I already know NOTB is THE BEST metal album. Plus I have Rock in Rio on DVD. And to agree with the Canadian, the 5.1 surround sound fucking rocks. If you don't have Dolby 5.1 you are missing out on the next best thing than an actual Maiden Show!!

Yeah, I tivoed it and got to see it. It was awesome, but I don't like the editing. Seemed so jumpy. When a guitar player is soloing, why cut to Nicko keeping time or Bruce just running around? Every 10 seconds the screen would jump to a different close up. Few far shots that gave you the feeling of being there. I know not to buy th eDVD now, and picked up the CD. I know I am a few years late, but I am just completing my catalog of IM stuff.

In good news, that I take so long to buy things, I feel that IM released several cd's this year. So while all you die hards have nothign new to listen to, I do!! HA!

I got NOTB for X Mas back in 1984. My grandmother bought it for me. Can you imagine a 65 year old woman approaching you in a record store (yes, for you youngsters out there I got it first on vinyl) saying where can I find that record called Number of the Beast?

LOL, reminds me of when my uncle (in his 70s) got me an ...And Justice for All and Korn t-shirts for my b-day. He wasn't that out of touch after all.

Technically, I got my Wacken ticket from my grandma, but factually, she only gave the money, my parents bought it.
