Hypothetical Maidenfans meetup discussion

Haha, that comes off scarier than if you said "You have everything to be afraid of". I get the feeling that you were holding a knife as you wrote that...

lol... some of you spend way to much time watching tv/movies. 20-25 years ago in the south Bronx, i could see the concern. Now? Well maybe for some, the amount of people could be intimidating at first. Whatever to each his own, we can worry about this when the dates are announced. Montreal, Boston, Chicago... if you guys meet up in a major city and my schedule permits i would be up for it.

Ultimately for me it depends on the tour dates. And after NY, Montreal is probably easiest for me.

Where do you intend to be during the period in question?

Well me and my mates are planning a coast to coast road trip in the US during June - September, and we haven't planned anything out yet but I believe that we'll start on the east coast and finish in the west, so you can sort of figure out where I will be at and when. :)

LC said that he and I were about the same distance to Montreal. I live just north of St. Louis- so where ever I go, it'll be a haul.

That's the other thing, too, if Wasted goes, people from out west could fly in to St. L or Chicago and get picked up on the way. Depending.

Just noticed this thread...I've been getting slaughtered at work lately.  I realize the consensus is tilting heavily East, but I'd be willing to host a get-together in L.A. if enough folks are so inclined. I promise good food and wine.

(Cap's crickets still chirping...)

LC:  fear not New York.  It is simply the most fun city in the U.S. -- albeit the most expensive for tourists.

*after checking the prices for L.A...*
If there is good wine inside the offer why not?  I would certainly like to discuss with you autour d'une belle bouteille
Also Boston could be a good option while Montreal is an awesome blonde option.
As for now, I'm choosing L.A, but let's wait for the dates and see.
At a first view the best place (in terms of numbers of fellas) would be rather in Midwest.

By the way, LC is the soul of the community right now and his idea reflects perfectly my statement

Maybe we should have a west and east coast one. There's simply no way I can get to LA.

Sydney in Feb? I'll be there.

But as I have family in DC and am will have finished my Masters of US Studies by June I'm planning a trip from west coast to east over July-Aug and it would be great to congregate somewhere with the Maidenfans for a US show, and I'd promise to spoiler/forbid any talk of the Sydney shows...if invited.

Montreal is best for me as well, but NYC or Boston Detroit work as well. No way I'll be able to make it to LA but I'm open for other spots in the US that are driving distance.

When the time comes, and we're both still available hopefully, maybe the two of us can figure out a mutually beneficial trip plan.  One car, sharing the gas.  Nothing needs to be decided now.  Just something to think about.
