There were some great games on there.

Goldeneye! Banjo Kazooie! Perfect Dark! Super Smash Bros! Even stuff like 1080 Snowboarding and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 if you are into those sorts of things. Why just last month, I got together with a few friends and we played Super Smash Bros for about 4 hours. One game I would really really like to play now (that I did as a kid and didn't like) is Majora's Mask.

I liked Shadows of the Empire, Turok and GoldenEye on N64. Wish that system had better games.

Let me see, Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time are like 2 of the best games ever made...  :innocent:

I can run my favorite games with a junkyard-ready laptop from like 2003 or so.

at high end sound, resolution, rendering, etc? surround sound? All games have "suggested" specs and "optimal," and they usually make a big difference.

Yes, though there are few exceptions, like Duke Nukem 3D where I have to use slightly lower resolution and Quake 2, where I have to turn OpenGL off.

Yep, Gearbox is doing it on the same engine they used for Borderlands, which is easily my favourite FPS of the last 5 years.

I haven't seen a single new weapon or monster in the trailers. All just modernized versions of old DN3D stuff. So, I'm excepting DNF to be DN3D with OMGGOODGRAPHICSMUSTBUY!!!

Yikes. No, I couldn't do that.

Also, Duke Nukem Forever is coming out very shortly.
Saw that at the game store on Monday, it looks pretty cool. If there is a PC version I will probably get it.

It has been coming out shortly for the past 10 years, I am sure if it is released, there will be a PC version.

it has a set release date and preorders available, so not like Chinese Democracy. And I suspect the game will be of good quality. :innocent:

you're kidding right... it's only taken 15 years... like Chinese Democracy, which has actually been released... unlike the game...

Anyway...  WHA?

Well Duke Nuke Em is confirmed and you can buy the game already. I haven't payed too much attention to this Duke Nukeem game and I thought it was a game resurrection but if it isn't, well I guess I'll just have to agree with you for the most part.
