Guesses for opener on NA Final Frontier tour

Assuming they'll continue with the tradition of having a static setlist on the upcoming tour in North America (which, of course, is unfortunate in some ways), what track do you guys think the boys will open up with?

I can't see them opening with Aces High again (as badly as I want them to) so I'm ruling that out. While I will say that I think this tour's setlist is going to be similar to the Death On The Road setlist, I think there's a slim to none chance they'll open with Wildest Dreams, so that's out for me too. There's also a number of shorter, more recent tracks that might qualify (Rainmaker or Different World), but neither have quite nough energy to be an opener in my mind. Also, as good of an opener as Futureal might be, I can't imagine them ever opening with a Blaze song these days.

I would put my money on three guesses... The Wickerman, Where Eagles Dare or TNOTB (for a bit of classic wildcard).

It depends on which song they choose for the first single from the new album. If the album opener is released as a single, they might just as well use it to open the shows.

Well, I'll go with the only hint about a possible song opener which I saw on a poster for some European festival Maiden will or would headline - Be Quick Or Be Dead.

when the Churchill speech on the last tour (Aces High).......started playing...everyone was sitting around (outdoor arena with a grassy hill and a covered area down by the stage) and you saw, in unison, people rise and head down the hill to get as close as they could.  I was eating a $5 personal pan pizza and drinking a $7 beer.....inhaled the pizza on the way down the hill and then called my buddy who couldn't make it and held the phone up.

so, in keeping with something like that....what about hearing....."Let me tell you about my life.  Let me tell you about my dreams."  I'm thinking the places would go nuts.......

I doubt anyone would get as excited for Ben Breeg as for Aces High.

One is regarded as a good album track but a strange single choice the other is arguably the best opener Maiden have done.

I'd like The Wickerman I think but I'm not going anywhere anyway so it doesn't matter that much I guess.

I agree on the excitablity level of Benj. vs. Aces.  The tour in 08 opened with Aces High.....I was sitting as far away from the crowd as I could...enojoying my pizza and beer with both my little brother and good friend for HS....when Churchill hit....the hair on my arm stood up and I knew it was going to be a great night.  That said, I think Benj. would be a good alternative, a different alternative anyway.  I'll let you know....I'm going to the 2nd show in Houston on the 11th!

I'd REALLY love to see them open with Caught Somewhere in Time, but if I had to put money on it, I think Wickerman is more likely.

As for the previous posters, are you guys saying every one sat around during Doctor Doctor and Transylvania?

this one would be  great

In the case of a single not coming out before the tour, which is extremely likely, how sick would it be to see them come out to Where Eagles Dare after a sound bite from the movie?

So, who's with me on starting a cult/activist group to have them open CSIT? I did more reflecting and realized this would be probably the greatest thing ever (better than Where Eagles Dare). Not only that, it would make up for them playing FOTD again (at least in Foro's eyes  :P ).

Blade Runner theme /CSIT would be the best thing ever.
