Great Opening Lines

Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood (awesome riff)

While you were out, The message says...

Great guitar work on this one, I have to admit it...

I recognised those lyrics but I could not get to the band or the song. Maybe because I have not listened to Dr Feelgood in years (and I mean years, decades even).

I don't know if this is an easy one or not, but still:

In the still of the night
I hear the wolf howl, honey

Worked 9-5, he worked his fingers to the bone! (Or something like that.
Eighteen and Life, Skid Row.

----------------
Stick with some old "hair":

"Out on the streets, that's where we'll meet"

Shit, I know the band and the album, but I can't get the song.  I even know the next line!  Aargh.  Getting old sucks.

EDIT:

"I've been to London, seen seven wonders"
"I know to trip is just to fall" -- got home, put Physical Graffiti on the turntable, and figured it out:  "The Rover"!

Here's the next one:
"Look away from the sea / I can take you anywhere"

The song is "Gates of Babylon" from Rainbow. Ronnie James Dio just so happens to be my new icon   :)

Next:

"I sneak in my own house...
It's four in the morning..."

He'd found a place
in his mind - and slammed the door.

Judas Priest - Beyond the Realms of Death.

See me ride out of the sunset, on your color TV screen ...

"Out for all that I can get
If you know what I mean"

AC/DC - T.N.T.

----------------------------------------------------

"Hey, lady, you got the love I need,
Maybe more than enough"

EDIT: It was Over The Hills And Far Away by Zeppelin.

Anyone can take turn again, because when I post a question, no-one responds...
Nobody answers to my posts either, but nevermind.

You better stand right there,
Get a clue and be aware
