Gun per inhabitant is probably one of the few statistics that doesn't really tell a story from a political standpoint.
 
Well, Switzerland, most of those guns belong to the government. Finland, I wouldn't be surprised if reservists are allowed their own weapons.

Anybody notice that Turkey and Bosnia, the only two countries in Europe with Muslim majority population, are the only ones in the %90s?

It's not a coincidence. Toilet hygiene is a huge deal in Islam, there are specific codes for it.

Having "taught Europeans how to clean their asses" is a popular belief among Turks. Considering the fact that the highest percentages on the map are on lands Muslims ruled a time ago, it does seem to hold water to some extent. That sharp buck of the trend compared to neighbours in Portugal is no coincidence.
