Here we are! Sepultura and Annihilator will be going toe-to-toe against each other in the grand finale. Both albums being the masterpieces of the genre, released in the same year that is, 1989. In my opinion, one of the best years, not just for Thrash but Metal in general. Both very respectable contenders.

Voting lines will close on 17th of Aug.

Maximum participation guys! :edmetal:

Needs more Testament :D
I like Testament more than any band listed here. I even nominated The New Order and yet voted for Beneath The Remains during the last round. They are one of my favourite bands, for whom I just can't pick a single album and call it THE Testament album!

The first three albums are just rock-solid. I really like Low, The Gathering is full-throttle and then again The Formation Of Damnation, Dark Roots Of Earth and Brotherhood Of The Snake are full of bangers.

As mentioned before, both super-duper albums but I'm definitely going for Beneath The Remains!

I'm not sure if Annihilator was the first band to bring this level of technicality in Thrash metal but sure as hell they popularized it. Jeff Waters' guitar playing is next level and not to mention he even plays bass on the record as well which is impressive considering he plays it with similar dexterity as he plays the guitar. Beneath, on the other hand is in my top 10 Metal albums of all time and is a complete package of brutal playing and songwriting.

Lethal, Anacrusis, Sanctuary...? All Thrash, all at least as technical, all preceded Alice In Hell.

Neither of those albums is among my top pics, but I would chose BTR over AIH any day. It's not even the best Annihilator album. Then again, BTR isnt the best Sepultura album either.
