Farewell, friends!

I did not write any of the fake posts or PMs - that was all Perun and LooseCannon. My involvement was merely with strategy and trying to get Raven riled up in the chatroom.

Generally speaking, Perun wrote most of them for the first couple of days, and LC took over after that.

Among the ones quoted above: I know for certain that LC wrote the first one, and I think he wrote all the rest of those too.

And Real World was in on the joke; his post was indeed part of the deception.


There's a whole thread about this joke in the moderator forum. We'll move it to a public place sometime soon. Many of you don't know half the madness that went on, as much of the fun was carried out by PM ... but you'll know soon. :bigsmile:

And for the record, several people here besides the mods were in on the joke. I'd like to thank Shadow, national_acrobat, Hunlord, Forostar, Black Dragon and Albie for keeping the secret. :ok:
 
What I hate most is when people label Maiden fans as satanists. This happened since Iron Maiden released The Number Of The Beast in 1982, when people in the U.S.A. and the whole world alike are blamed for being satanists.

I heard that next year Cartoon Network will be airing the new cartoon series Transformers: Animated next year. Here is the show's storyline "Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and the rest of the noble Autobots battle Megatron and the Decepticons in the near-future Detroit". Autobot leader Optimus Prime transforms into a fire engine instead of a trailer and carries an axe instead of rifle. Prowl transforms into a motorcycle instead of patrol car. For the Decepticons Megatron transforms into a fighter jet instead of pistol and carries a sword (his right-arm cannon is removed this time) and finally Soundwave transforms into a Scion xB car instead of audio cassette player.

I thought this was quite a good larf all in all, and it was nice to actually see it from the mod's point of view. The way some people fly off the handle is hilarious! :D

Wow... Ingenious.  This whole thing, really.  Great execution, but like I said,you missed the date by four months...
 
I knew this had to be a joke.  SMX is a computer *PRO* and I couldn't imagine 1000 suns coming up from behind to sabotage his skills.  Although, I did think for one moment, that the *MODS* were losing it!!  You bitches!  You had me!  I think you all have to much GD time on your hands and I think you all need to get LAID!!!!

Indeed. A lesson was learnt here, you always get the chance to read and re-read your posts before posting - there is no real need to hit the post button in anger.

I didn' took it for a joke at all, for me it was a hacking

I told LC that from the way of his posting I was suspecting at least one other person involved...
what I thinking is between mid November until now, _suns found a friend of his -a hacker- who made it possible to post again, and since, they both posted here

I have to admit, that some posts were VERY WELL written though -congrats guys  :ok:

Sorry about the GD part but Onhell and LC knew what I meant.  I did not want to offend anyone with taking the Lords name in vein. 

As for when....thats up to you!  Where?  That will have to be Pacific Standard Time and done in California.  I'm afraid I don't do other people's time zones!

As confused as I am on what exactly happened, that still sounds like a brilliant prank.

I hate to ask stupid questions, but is there some backstory I'm not aware of as to why Thousand Suns' "return" has any significance?
