I meant where the demolition takes place. Anyway I made a quick search, it looks like California or Arizona most probably. In Europe it would be Spain or France. There’s no major graveyard in Germany.

According to the booklet I received with my tag, the plane was scrapped in England, and the panels that were converted into tags were shipped to Cologne from there.

Yeah there are a couple of graveyards in UK, unconsciously I don’t consider Great Britain Europe any more

I wonder if the procedure of demolition is same as ships (graveyard buys the vessel from operator) so it wouldn’t matter the country of built or operator for the choice of graveyard.
Also I wonder if there are some legal bounds that prohibit third world countries demolishing Western airplanes.
