En Vivo! on BBC Four (tonight, in UK)

For some reason the BBC have cut the runtime of the concert to an hour and have jumped to Dance of Death straight after El Dorado, which sucks...

It's a shame because, in my opinion, The Talisman is one of the absolute standouts, I get a feeling that When the Wild Wind Blows is going to be omitted as well :(

EDIT: I stand corrected - Blood Brothers and WTWWB have both been included!

WTWWB being omitted would be a problem because its my girlfriend favourite and she'd... be... pissed
Now they've skipped Wicker Man which is... surprising

edit:
OMG is Blood Brothers STILL on!?!?!?!
edit II:
WTWWB not omitted, BBC shall live

Well who knows what the BBC are thinking? At least there aren't any subliminal adverts courtesy of the Olympic sponsors!

Theres an athlete or 2012 crayon drawing in pretty much every advert these days :D
now the evil that men do has taken the cut... pretty randomly dropping songs now with time to play one or two from iron maiden, tnotb, hallowed and running free

surely they wont cut big eddie and if they fit in another id go with tnotb and forget the last two

It told you in the guide what the songs were --& that it was only on for an hour; clearly being an edit.
("The set features Final Frontier, El Dorado, Dance of Death, Trooper, Blood Brothers, Where the Wild Wind Blows, Fear of the Dark and Iron Maiden")

Yeah I'd say that's the most likely outcome given that they've started Iron Maiden with only about ten minutes left!

EDIT: I didn't realise that it said in the guide which songs were included, it's still a pity that only about half the actual show has been broadcast though.

ahhh, well looks like were getting some subliminal olympics adverts til 5 to after iron maiden then ;)
All of this speculation could've been solved simply by proper use of CriedWhenBrucieLeft's post ...sigh

Hehe. Did you like my "caught the footage" line Tron? :D
It rhymed with bought...
... & some people maybe didn't (or haven't) bought En Vivo! yet. Just saying...:p

Even if it's been cut down, I would just be glad it's been shown.

I don't have any of the extended channels so have never caught any of them but usually even if something is shown it will be from a more 'mainstream' band and something older rather than this which is still a fairly recent release.

HDNET (whatever it is called now) used to play Death on the Road about three times a month for two years (but cut it down to 90 minutes), I imagine the cutting of shows is pretty common.
