Eddie's Dive Bar

Maybe. It's on the way out to the venue in Manchester from where we're staying. That said there are a couple of other decent bars where Maiden fans are likely to congregate, and they serve things other than Trooper!

Think I'm probably going to go to it the night before the gig in Dublin, have different plans on the day of the gig and it will be probably rammed anyway

I was considering going to the London one, as I'm not going to the show I figured I could at least listen to it from the bar. But, not being a beer or wine drinker, it's sounding slightly less appealing now.

Maiden need to bring out a Trooper-brand cider <_<

I don't drink, but I might check out the one in Stockholm - it's within the vicinity of the arena anyway. Just for the vibes and moods and whatnot.

Has it been said it's Trooper and wine only? Can't imagine it would make any sense to do that

I assumed they served more, I was going by Brigs' post above, and the original announcement only specified they were serving Trooper and the wine.

Yeah, I'd be confident enough that they are probably just bringing bottles of Trooper and the wine to these venues and that other beers etc. that the venue usually serve will also be available.

I'd be surprised if Trooper is even on tap. A mate was in the Cart and Horses in December and they only had bottles, and if you look on the map of Trooper availability on the Robinsons website, it only seems to show supermarkets and off licences.

If I remember correctly, they had Trooper on tap at The Pilot Inn near the O2 Arena the last couple of tours Maiden played there.
