Eddie Doodle...

Here's an Eddie doodle I did last month around the same time that I was finishing up The Maidens new CD/DVD cover(which will be out in May of 2007)...Done for a Greek Strings Ensemble...I've since lightened Eddies skin more and added blood running from the forehead bolt as well as more flames coming off the violin...I have a lot more pieces to post in the next few months...hope you guys dig it.

I like it - and so modestly tagged as a "doodle". It would take me about five years (and a lot of mistakes) just to get the eyes right.

Very nice, I like it. The flames on the violin are a nice touch.

It would probably fit a Maiden album! What a work of art this is, very similar to Derek! Its a great work

I have a question. Who owns Eddie? I ask because if you are doing these works as cover art for other bands other than Maiden, wouldn't Maiden or even Riggs be able to sue you? Do you have to pay any fees to use him?

As for the "doodle" itself it is amazing... I'm surprised Maiden didn't hire you to make one of their latest covers.

Wow, it really does resemble Derek Riggs' drawings.  I simply don't understand how someone can draw that well.  Perhaps you should volunteer for making their next album cover, so we don't get a new Dance of Death

Nah...If Maiden had a problem with it, they would of shut down the bootlegs forums a long time ago....Besides, I just painted it for someone else for a Maiden strings tribute. What they do with isnt my problem.

That´s a great Eddie! You don´t happen to have a website or something were we can see your other Eddie´s? I guess this isn´t your first so it would be really cool to see your other works!
