I think that would be a little harsh. I didn't even know this was against the rules, so he probably wouldn't know. But this is a hypothetical situation, considering it (most likely) isn't real.

Doesn't sound anything like Maiden to me (musically). I would believe it was Bruce's solo work before I would believe it was Maiden. However, Bruce's stuff isn't that repetitive.

The singer actually does sound familiar for some reason. Another mislabeled MP3 from some other legitimate band?
 
This sounds like a track from a Tribuzy demo tape. In fact, considering the use of a drum machine in the recording, I wouldn't be surprised if it is.

Failure to read the forum rules does not mean you don't have to follow them anyway.
 
That dosen't sound like Maiden.
The drumbeat dosent sound like Nicko (and the cymbals sound like MIDI!)
The Voice is a pretty good imitation of Bruce. But it is not Bruce.

This is NOT Bruce, Bruce's vocals is more "harsh" or what I can call it. He has not that clean vocals, and he sings much better.

A quick Googling showed "Believe in Nothing" is a song by Nevermore...but the lyrics don't match up to the file here. "Belive in Nothing" is also an album by Paradise Lost, but as far as I can see it doesn't have a title track. So what we have here could be the real deal, or maybe a hoax...if anyone's heard the song by Nevermore maybe they could shed some light on the matter?

To me, it did not sound (vocally) like Nevermore. Most certainly, it is not like the Paradise Lost of that era either.
 
I downloaded 'Believe in Nothing' by Nevermore, just to check-that's not Nevermore, I can tell you. I don't know Paradise Lost, but I strongly suspect a quick search into that album would reveal nothing remotely similar to that track. I still support SMX's theory that it is indeed a hoax, and will do so until I have any further (and reliable!) sources to corroborate this (dare I say 'dodgy') rumour.
 
Well, the title "Believe In Nothing" certainly rings true here. Just some hoax players taking advantage of the impatience of Maiden's fanbase for a nice little joke.

If you haven't listened to Paradise Lost - I think you should check out their early stuff, before they went off the boil a bit (i.e. Believe in Nothing and so on).

well, as it seems now - no. from my point of view, this could be maiden, but the drums and vocals just aren't good enough to be our beloved iron maiden! so, no, this can't be it, even if it does sound like maiden. i just won't belive it is, for many reasons.
